Course Description
The Humanities 7 curriculum takes students on a journey through the ancient world in the Eastern Hemisphere. In this course, we explore ancient empires and their lasting legacies and contributions to our modern world. We focus on core principles of human migration, colonization and conquest, culture and human ingenuity, and modern issues facing indigenous populations worldwide. Our learning is conducted through a student-centered inquiry based model that integrates reading, writing, the arts, presentation skills, technology, and collaboration. This course prepares students to be global citizens and introduces them to themes which will carry through high school, higher education and beyond.Student Voice
